Palaeolithic Health and Safety Poster

firegood

This one recently discovered in the Dordogn in what archaeologists are interpreting as the canteen of an Upper Palaeolithic cave system.

Festooned to the cave wall with a primitive form of resin-based blue tack, the poster overlay an early Banksy (loin cloth period) as well as the following pithy profundity:

What’s the difference between a Buffalo and a Bison? You can’t wash your hands in a Buffalo.

Jokes GOOD… but also BAD

And there was me thinking that the Afgans were showcasing their 2020 Olympic bid poster.

Hope you’re not worried about an impending fatwa. I think the flunky president is too busy loosing a war and the Taliban dont read archaeology blogs – surely.
